Wealthcare operates as an independent RIA organized as a limited liability company and owned by an individual. The firm serves individual and family clients, offering financial planning and portfolio management targeted at individuals and small businesses. Its advisory model is fee-based—charging a percentage of assets under management with the option for hourly engagement for planning work. Investment activity is tilted toward equities: exchange-traded equities comprise the vast majority of the firm’s assets, signaling a preference for liquid, tradeable instruments (ETFs and individual stocks) as the backbone of client portfolios. The firm also allocates to real estate through third-party alternative managers and uses mutual funds for complementary exposures.
