Overview

Theorem operates as a hedge-fund–style investment manager organized as a limited liability company and registered with the SEC in 2016. Its client base is institutional, and it provides portfolio management for pooled investment vehicles and for businesses or institutional accounts. The firm also functions in roles typical of commodity advisory structures (CPO/CTA) and reports fee arrangements that combine a percentage of assets under management with performance-based fees. Theorem does not market itself as an ESG investor and is not identified as a multi-state adviser or pension consultant. The firm’s activities extend beyond pure advisory work: filings list affiliations consistent with serving as a sponsor, general partner, or managing member of pooled vehicles and with acting as a real estate broker in connection with its investment activities.
