The Carlyle Group is a multi-strategy alternative asset manager and capital allocator serving primarily institutional clients. Structured as a limited liability company and active since the mid-1990s, the firm operates across private equity, real estate, securitized assets, hedge strategies and other pooled investment vehicles.
