Overview

PMB Advisors is an independent, sole-proprietor registered investment adviser that began operations in 2020. The firm positions itself as a capital allocator for both individual and family clients as well as institutional accounts, combining financial planning, discretionary portfolio management and selection of outside advisers with insurance brokerage capabilities. Fee arrangements are flexible — the firm charges percentage-of-AUM fees but also uses hourly billing, fixed fees and commissions when appropriate. Investmently, PMB Advisors shows a clear preference for equities and exchange-traded instruments as the core of client portfolios.
